If you’re arriving in Ålesund by cruise ship and would like to experience a unique horseback riding adventure, we make it easy for you! Simply take a bus from Ålesund to the Fjellstova bus stop, which is located near Stall Kjellbotn Ridesenter.

The bus drives through the city, up to the Hillsides of the fjord to the Fjellstova bus stop where our guide will pick you up.

How to get here from the cruise terminal in Ålesund:

• Bus route: Take bus no. 100 Ålesund-Molde to the bus stop Fjellstova.

• From the cruise ship to the bus station: The bus station is only a 10-minute walk from the cruise terminal. You can see the buses from your ship.

• Departure from Ålesund: The bus departs once an hour at .55 (e.g., 09.55, 10:55, etc.).

• Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

• Return from Fjellstova: The bus back to Ålesund passes at .35 each hour (e.g., 14.35, 15.35, etc.).

• Bus Platform: Bus no. 100 departs from platform 4 at Ålesund bus station.

Tickets:

• Tickets are purchased directly from the bus driver.

• Payment is made by visa/credit card.

• Tickets are sold as one-way only and cost 46 NOK.

Guided pickup and return:

Once you arrive at the Fjellstova bus stop (near Stall Kjellbotn Ridesenter), our guide will meet you there and take you to the riding location. After the ride, the guide will drive you back to the bus stop for your return journey to Ålesund.
