Looking for a seasonal job as a riding guide with Icelandic horses, including competition riding?
Stall Kjellbotn, located on Ørskogfjellet between Ålesund, Molde, and Åndalsnes, is looking for seasonal part-time riding guides for the 2026 season.

Requirements
Real experience as a riding guide
Riding, handling, and training experience with Icelandic horses
Competition riding experience with Icelandic horses (including pace)
Driver’s license
Good English skills
Advantage
Practical work on a farm or riding center (maintenance, minor repairs, carpentry)
Ability to refit a horseshoe if a horse loses one
About the Job
You will prepare and handle Icelandic horses, guide organized riding tours, and ensure that guests have a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience in mountain and forest terrain.
The position involves daily horse work, saddling, and guest interaction.
Opportunities Beyond Guiding
There may be opportunities for competition riding and some show riding during the season, connected to our new stallion.

Qualifications
Minimum age: 20
Solid riding and horse experience (Icelandic horses are required)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Responsible, reliable, and service-minded
