Experience a guided horseback riding tour on an Icelandic horse in the Sunnmøre mountains near Ålesund. The ride goes on a Gravel road through open landscapes with mountain views and passes a beautiful waterfall before we stop for a break in the old barn at Måslia setra. The old barn at Måslia setra and the ride here are known from the popular American reality series from 2021

The ride is suitable for beginners, children, and more experienced riders. When needed, we divide the group so the pace can be adjusted. This horseback riding tour is adapted for cruise guests visiting Ålesund

Good to know

New now: Transport now takes place with pickup from the harbor in Ålesund directly to Stall Kjellbotn and back again.

The transport is now included in the price of the riding tour. The transport part has the same price as before (200 NOK per person), but is now included in the total price of the tour. You still get the same great drive of about one hour each way with views of city, fjord and mountains.

The excursions are adapted to the port times of the cruise ships visiting Ålesund, but do not fit all port calls, as some ships stay for too short a time in port.

The excursion takes about 5 hours quay-to-quay.

It is also possible to order lunch at the same time as you book the excursion, and many choose this.

The excursion starts and ends at the harbor in Ålesund and includes transport and riding tour.

Like other operators and activities, we also offer 24-hour free cancellation.This also applies if the ship should not be able to dock for any reason.
